Automatic updates may be annoying sometimes usually when you are in middle of something very important process. How to Disable Automatic App Updates in OS X Mavericks

  • Open your System preference by double-clicking on “System preference” icon on the Dock.

Note: You can create it by clicking on Apple icon in the task bar and select “System Preference” from the drop down menu.

  • After opening System Preference, click on your Apps Store.
  • Now just uncheck the box next to “Automatically check for updates”.
  • It’s Done.

You can enable it later on if you want to enable your Automatic Updates on your Mac OS X Mavericks.
