How to Stop the auto-update of Apps on Android:
- Open Play Store: First you have to open Play Store app on your device.
- Goto Play Store Options: Now Once the application opens, find options of Store which will be on top of the Play Store app or you can also press the options key in the app.
- Auto-update Apps: Then goto settings by tapping on it and you can see many of the options available to you including the option of “Auto-Update” Apps.
- Turn-off Auto-update: Tap on “Auto-Update” and Select the option of “Do not Auto-update apps”.
By doing this also Google Play Store will ask you to Update New Versions of app manually and this is very helpful for some Android Users who frequently gets connected to Internet through limited data plan.
